The growing use of toxic gases like N₂O, CO, NH3, and Cl₂ in healthcare, chemicals, and other industries has heightened concerns over safety and environmental risks. Mismanagement of these gases can lead to severe health and ecological consequences. Notably, recreational misuse of N₂O among youth and unsafe practices involving CO, such as using charcoal stoves in enclosed spaces, have caused numerous poisonings and fatalities.
To address these issues, raising awareness and ensuring safe handling, storage, and usage of toxic gases is essential for public health and sustainable development. AIGA Vietnam, leveraging expertise from member companies and international partners, will collaborate with VINACHEMIA to implement safety projects, develop regulations, and establish standards to promote the responsible use of toxic gases
