| WHY – HOW | According to information from the transporter, the tanker truck was carrying about 20 m3 of liquid oxygen. The incident occurred on the return journey after delivering the cargo. At the time of the fire, there was no liquid oxygen left in the tank. The cause of the fire was attributed to the hot weather, with the tire catching fire while navigating the pass, subsequently spreading flames to the tanker.
