The MOU Signing Ceremony between AIGA VN and VINACHEMIA in period of 2025 ~ 2028 – April 25th, 2025

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANING (“MOU”) implement cooperation activities to promote better awareness of chemical safety, health, environment and security in production, distribution and use the industrial gases in Vietnam in period of 2025 – 2028, is signed at 13:30pm dated Apr 25th, 2025 (Fri) between Asia Industrial Gases Association in Vietnam (“AIGA VN”) and Vietnam Chemicals Agency (“VINACHEMIA”)

This is the third time that the two organizations have signed a MOU, demonstrating sustainable and consistent cooperation over the years

   

MOU SIGNING CEREMONY IN PERIOD 2025 ~ 2028 BETWEEN AIGA VIỆT NAM AND VINACHEMIA

Goal

Cooperate to share knowledge and experience on best practices for research and training to raise awareness of safety, health, environment and security in the use, storage, transportation and related activities of industrial gas production and distribution in Vietnam. Gradually build a safety culture and reduce accidents and incidents.
Through this memorandum of cooperation, both parties will continue to coordinate the organization of training programs, technical seminars, and policy discussions, and jointly research and propose practical standards in line with industry needs and national development goals.

       

 

The Ceremony is organized at the Office of VINACHEMIA – Ministry of Industry and Trade #21 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Participants including representatives of the Parties:

VINACHEMIA

  • Mr. Phung Manh Ngoc – Director General
  • Mr. Luu Hoang Ngoc – Deputy Director General
  • Mr. Tran Kim Lien – Chief of Administrative Office
  • Mr. Vuong Thanh Chung – Director of Center for Chemical Accident Response and Safety
  • Mr. Le Viet Thang – Deputy Chief of Administrative Office.

Representatives speaking about the cooperation between the two sides were Mr. Phung Manh Ngoc – Director General of VINACHEMIA and Mr. Erik Mota Calvosa – Chief Representative of AIGA Vietnam.

      

 

The ceremony ended successfully with open discussion and exchange between both sides on the results achieved in previous stages and commitment to implement the activities of the MOU in this stage and develop other activities to achieve the set goals.
