Continue the project’s operations in 2025″ “SAFETY WITH TOXIC GASES”

With the approval of the Department of Foreign Affairs & Culture Diplomatic – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Nov 18, 2025, AIGA VN, in collaboration with the Vietnam Chemicals Agency, organized a webinar titled “APPLICATION AND SAFETY FOR TOXIC GASES IN INDUSTRY AND LIFE”. The goal was to share the basic knowledge about the properties and risks of SO₂, H₂S, and CO; analyze their harmful effects on health, safety measures in storage, filling, transportation, and use; identify hazards, preventive measures, and lessons learned from real accident cases in Vietnam and worldwide.

The webinar had the presence and opening remarks of Mr. Erik Mota – Chairman of AIGA Vietnam

This was followed by technical presentations and a Q&A session. The technical presentations were delivered by experts from AIGA VN member companies:

  • @ Le Van Dong (Manager of SHEQ & IMS _ Air Liquide VN)

  • @ Nguyen The Dung (Manager of Hai Duong factory _ Messer in VN)

The webinar attracted 79 participants, including HSE professionals, individuals interested in Production, Maintenance, Filling, Use and Transportation of products.

AIGA VN develops and implements action programs with the mission of raising awareness and promoting a culture of safety, health, environment, and security in the industrial gas sector in Vietnam. Activities include organizing technical seminars, developing and publishing safety guidelines, providing training, translating international materials into Vietnamese, producing posters and communication videos, and enhancing awareness among end-users. At the same time, AIGA VN collaborates with partners to share international knowledge and experience, and contributes to the development of national standards aligned and harmonized with international standards.

AIGA VN xây dựng và triển khai các chương trình hành động nhằm thực hiện sứ mệnh nâng cao nhận thức, thúc đẩy văn hóa an toàn – sức khỏe – môi trường – an ninh trong ngành khí công nghiệp tại Việt Nam. Các hoạt động được thực hiện thông qua hội thảo chuyên ngành, biên soạn và phát hành tài liệu hướng dẫn, tổ chức đào tạo an toàn, dịch các tài liệu quốc tế sang tiếng Việt, phát hành áp phích và video truyền thông, nâng cao nhận thức cho người sử dụng cuối; đồng thời phối hợp chia sẻ kiến thức, kinh nghiệm quốc tế và đóng góp ý kiến cho quá trình xây dựng các tiêu chuẩn quốc gia phù hợp, hài hòa với các tiêu chuẩn quốc tế.
