N2O gas cylinder explosion kills one man in Thai Nguyen province - May 8, 2024

WHAT	N2O cylinder explosion in Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province – North VN, and 1 man died
WHEN – WHERE – WHO	Around 6:00pm on May 8, 2024, a large explosion occurred in Tan Lap Ward (Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province)
WHY – HOW	According to locals, the young man had just moved into the rented house a few days ago. At the time of the explosion, the victim was said to be filling N2O from a large cylinder to smaller ones. Not received any information more about this accident from media We guess it maybe pump exploded / or because of old cylinder and/or cylinder does not meet quality, not be inspected . Or there was some oil on the equipment/hand
DAMAGED	The explosion created a great pressure, blowing off the roof of the house, causing one person to die on the spot. The victim was a 25-year-old man residing in Nghia Hung District, Nam Dinh Province.
LESSION LEARNT	Equipment must be tested and inspected as regulation Filling process must be followed SOP/work instruction The operator must be trained
